I spent the weekend communing with nature up in Lake Placid (okay, well, I went for a walk or two in the snow), and I'm still finding it hard to adjust back to big city life this Monday morning..
Hot apple cider with spiced rum by the fire? Check. Walking around charming Adirondack towns and window shopping? Check. Visiting a local farmer's market and bee-lining it to homemade skincare items whilst pointedly ignoring all vegetables? Double check!
Cabin life sounds pretty good to me right now - complete with wood burning fireplace and a claw-foot tub of course!
